Rock the River!

Celebrate our 3rd Annual Rock the River FXBG event at Old Mill Park. The event includes live music, craft beer, kid-friendly activities, local artisan vendors, and some of the best local food trucks. While at the park, enjoy one of the supporting events, including the 37th Annual Great Rappahannock Whitewater Canoe and Kayak Race. Civil War Paddle

National Park Service Supervisory Historian Greg Mertz leads this daylong canoe tour of Civil War sites along the Rapidan or Rappahannock rivers. It is one of our most popular trips and we focus on bringing to life tales of Stonewall Jackson, George Custer and J.E.B. Stuart. Bring a bag lunch, water, sunscreen, etc. This trips fills FAST, so register early. Minimum age is 12 years and this is a strenuous, all-day event.
